Temtem map12/31/2023 ![]() Most of it will just be for looks, but CremaGames is teasing some ideas for useful furniture like egg incubators and fruit trees.Īchievements! They're coming! In fall-ish! Most of them will just be the usual badge of honor for completionists, but CremaGames is teasing that some may also come with in-game rewards. The housing supply will be unlimited - no need to play the real estate market like in Final Fantasy 14 - and you'll be able to decorate your house with furniture from new stores all across the Airborne Archipelago. Your youthful Temtem Tamer can embark on the harrowing journey of home ownership starting in summer-ish. CremaGames says a more fully featured version is coming in spring-ish, complete with multiple channels, one-to-one whispers, and optional chat bubbles to see what folks around you are saying. Temtem has had in-game chat before, but it was only rudimentary and it was disabled for the early access launch. Also, Temtems will be automatically scaled to the level cap with perfect starting values for their stats (SVs), so your team doesn't need perfect breeding to be competitive in ranked matchmaking. It will start with placement matches to determine your Tamer Matchmaking Rating, then you'll face off with players based on your rating - you'll be able to earn pansun currency for each battle at first, but don't expect that to be permanent. On top of the casual duels you can challenge players to right now, the first iteration of Temtem ranked matchmaking is coming in spring-ish. ![]() In the meantime, why not check out our guide on how to catch Crystle, one of the three starters? Or if you want to know how to get through Mictlan, one of the most challenging areas in the game, just click here. Now here's a break down of the most planned features coming in the relatively near future, according to the short-term Temtem roadmap. Hopefully that cleared up matters for you and we'll be sure to update this guide when updates are made to the game. | Joel Franey/USgamer, Crema/Humble Bundle The list of quests on the right side of the screen serve as a means to keep you informed, though there's currently no way to cycle through older quests. The others are still active and you can pursue them, but there's no way to access the log without continuing it in some way, frustrating as it is. We presume this'll be changed at some point in the future, but right now it means you can only have an immediate record of the last three quests you interacted with or collected. Unfortunately at time of writing, what with Temtem being in Early Access, there is no way to check the larger list of quests, which is a greyed-out option in the menu next to the map. You'll probably have noticed the list of quests at the right side of the screen that keep you up to date with those you've signed on for, as well as the dotted icon at the bottom that implies a larger list beyond that. If you're standing outside a quest-giver's house and check the map, it likely won't show the exclamation point until you're standing inside with them. ![]() In short, you'll want to check your map as regularly as possible, as most towns have at least one additional quest in them, though it's worth mentioning that they don't indicate quests inside buildings. For example, if you've agreed to find the mythical Arburian goose as a side quest, the blue question mark will either show the goose's location, or at least indicate the next step to finding it, such as a person who knows a helpful rumour, or has a lot of stale bread to give away. These connect with markers and points of interest that coincide with quests you've already signed on for. You might also see blue question marks on the map at times.
